About Joe

Joe Duva, a Cornell University graduate, is an active volunteer firefighter in Fair Haven and serves as Head of Corporate Strategy for a global Real Estate Investment Trust. With a robust career that includes leadership roles at Citibank, Mercer, IBM, and Instacart, Joe has expertise in strategy, innovation, product development, and operations. Originally from Connecticut, Joe and his wife Melissa lived in a nearby beach community for several years before settling into a charming 75-year-old home on Grange Avenue. When he is not working or volunteering at the firehouse, Joe is busy restoring their home and taking their young daughter for walks through Fair Haven’s beautiful parks and trails. Through his year-round firefighting service and related volunteerism at the annual Fireman’s Fair, Joe has met a great number of residents and has gained a deep understanding of the community’s values - values he will continue to fight for.
